Celebrating Second Year of GCSE Success

Celebrating Second Year of GCSE Success - Celebrating Second Year of GCSE Success
Congratulations to our GCSE Students

Kamila Y., who studied Maths, Additional Maths and Computer Science iGCSEs and Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English as a second language and Psychology GCSEs, achieved a grade 9 in Biology and said: “My Biology teacher has a unique way of making complex Biology concepts clear and enjoyable. Their responsible guidance for the subject not only strengthened my understanding but also inspired me to explore science beyond the classroom. Their constant support pushed me to aim higher and achieve more than I thought possible.”

In addition to this year’s GCSE results, we are also celebrating the success of our first cohort of A Level students, with 71 percent achieving grades A* - B and 30 percent accomplishing three grade As or higher.

Tess St Clair-Ford, Principal, said: “This year marks a significant milestone as we celebrate the achievements of both our second ever cohort of students who have completed our two year GCSE programme as well as those who have completed the course in just one year. The results are a testament to their dedication and commitment as well as the ongoing support of their teachers and parents. Yet, beyond the results, our students' achievements showcase their growth and ambition, and I look forward to seeing them continue their academic journey in September when they commence their A Level studies with us.”

Students and parents who want to learn more about the College are invited to register for our upcoming Open House event on 20 September: https://www.oicbrighton.com/admissions/open-house
