On Tuesday, our students got hands-on with a fun and interactive science activity — making their own slime and bouncy balls. Although it was a little messy, the session was a huge hit with everyone involved!
The experiment introduced students to the chemistry behind gels, as they created slime by combining a polymer solution with a cross-linking agent. Using everyday materials such as PVA glue, shaving cream, and water, students experimented with texture and consistency, finishing off by adding food colouring to create their own unique slime designs.
