SIT OUR AGE-APPROPRIATE ASSESSMENTS

We’ll then invite you to sit our admissions tests. The type of assessment you’ll take depends on the year group you’re joining. After taking our tests, we’ll ask you to an interview.
Admissions tests:
  • Years 9 and 10: Online aptitude test and an English assessment (if English is not your first language).
  • Year 11: Online aptitude test and papers in maths and combined science.
  • Year 12 (overseas-based students): online aptitude test; papers in certain A-level subjects (maths, physics, biology, and chemistry). If you’re choosing a humanities subject, you’ll need to take a short essay-based assessment.
  • Year 12 (UK-based students): online aptitude test; GCSE predicted grades; and an English assessment (if English is not your first language). Non-native English speakers will need to achieve an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.5.
