WHO CAN JOIN OIC BRIGHTON?
OIC Brighton is open to 13 to 18-year-olds of all backgrounds and nationalities.
We accept applications all year round and our programmes – pre-GCSE, one- and two-year GCSE, and two-year A-level – start in September.
We also offer one and two term Study Abroad Programmes to prospective students who would like to join us in Years 9, 10 and 12.

- How quickly do you respond to enquiries?
We aim to get back to you within 24 hours of receiving your enquiry (working hours, Monday to Friday).
- How long does the admissions process take?
From the moment you get in touch with us to the offer of a place, our admissions process typically takes no more than two weeks. Each student’s application journey is different, however, so please get in touch with our friendly team to find out more.
- Will I need to sit an entrance exam?
- Yes, all prospective students are asked to sit OIC Brighton’s admissions tests before they join us. The type of assessment you’ll take depends on the year group you’re joining.
- Years 9 and 10: online aptitude test and English assessment.
- Year 11: online aptitude test and maths and combined science papers.
- Year 12: online aptitude test plus assessments in maths, physics, biology, and chemistry.
Successful applicants will then be invited to an online or in-person interview.- Can I transfer to OIC Brighton from another school?
Yes, of course. Many students join us from other schools. They do so for a variety of reasons, whether it’s looking for higher levels of academic challenge and support, a more progressive approach, or the chance to live and study on an inspiring single-site campus.
- Is the college open to all nationalities?
Of course! We’re proud to be a truly international school that’s home to students from more than 20 countries.
