Graduation and Prize Giving 2026 Celebrates Achievement, Ambition and Community

Graduation and Prize Giving 2026 Celebrates Achievement, Ambition and Community | OIC Brighton - Graduation and Prize Giving 2026

A Memorable Morning of Celebration

Students, families and staff came together to celebrate the achievements of another exceptional year at OIC Brighton during our Graduation and Prize Giving 2026 ceremony.

The event recognised the hard work, resilience and accomplishments of students across the college, providing an opportunity to reflect on a year filled with academic success, personal growth and memorable experiences. From outstanding examination performances and subject excellence to contributions to college life, students were celebrated for the commitment and determination they have shown throughout the year.

Honouring Outstanding Achievement

Prize Giving recognised students who have excelled academically and demonstrated the values that define the OIC Brighton community. Awards were presented across a range of subjects and categories, highlighting not only academic excellence but also leadership, perseverance, creativity and service to others.

The morning also marked an important milestone for our graduating students as they prepare for the next stage of their educational journey. As they look towards leading universities and exciting future opportunities, the ceremony served as a fitting celebration of everything they have achieved during their time at OIC Brighton.

Celebrating House Success

A highlight of the morning was the announcement of the overall House Competition results for the year.

Congratulations to Jex-Blake House, who were crowned House Champions following an incredibly competitive year. The battle for first place went right down to the wire, with only 100 points separating first and second place, reflecting the tremendous effort and commitment shown by all four houses throughout the year.

From Sports Day and enrichment activities to house competitions, charity initiatives and everyday contributions to college life, students accumulated points through teamwork, participation and achievement. Jex-Blake's victory is a testament to the collective effort of every student who represented their house with enthusiasm and pride.

Looking Ahead

Graduation and Prize Giving is always one of the most special moments in the OIC Brighton calendar. It provides an opportunity to celebrate individual success, recognise the strength of our community and reflect on the values that bring us together.

We extend our warmest congratulations to all prize winners, graduating students and members of Jex-Blake House. We are incredibly proud of everything our students have accomplished this year and look forward to seeing what they achieve in the future.

As one chapter closes and another begins, we wish our graduates every success in the exciting journeys that lie ahead.
