The Inter-House Volleyball competition took place in glorious evening sunshine on Tuesday 24th September, with all Houses proudly represented. Thant even welcomed a few special guests, who played their part in earning valuable points for their House.
The event began with a group stage where every team faced each other, creating plenty of excitement and showcasing some excellent rallies. After some closely fought matches, Anderson and Cori emerged as the top two teams and secured their place in the final, while Jex-Blake and Thant prepared to battle it out for third place.
The final between Anderson and Cori proved to be a thrilling contest. Both sides demonstrated superb teamwork, determination and skill, with the scores tied as the clock ticked down. In the final moments, Anderson showed great composure and energy to pull ahead, clinching a 21–17 victory and the title. Meanwhile, the 3rd/4th place playoff saw Jex-Blake claim a well-deserved win over Thant, rounding off an excellent evening of volleyball.
A huge well done goes to all students who represented their Houses with pride, and a special thank you to the staff helpers who made the event such a success.
