In the golden glow of Monday afternoon sunshine, the atmosphere was electric as students from Years 9 to 13 laced up their trainers and took to the court for the Inter-House Basketball Tournament—a thrilling showcase of skill, spirit, and house pride!
With all four houses bringing the heat, the “Court of Dreams” lived up to its name. Spectators were treated to fast breaks, fierce defence, and team camaraderie as the tournament unfolded in spectacular fashion.
Pre-tournament whispers had Anderson House tipped as favourites—thanks in no small part to their dynamic duo, Rex and Ryan. They certainly lived up to the hype, storming their first game with an emphatic 14-3 win over Cori. But Thant weren’t going down without a fight, pushing Anderson to the limit in a nail-biting match that ended with Anderson just edging it by two points.

Despite the fierce competition, the tournament was a shining example of sportsmanship. Every game was played in the right spirit, with players showing great respect to referee Dan, and a special shoutout goes to Ryan, Dom, and Rex, who stepped in to help officiate—exemplary leadership on and off the court!
The level of skill on display was truly outstanding and made for an unforgettable afternoon. Every player contributed to a brilliant tournament that not only entertained but also added valuable House Points to the leaderboard.
Well done to everyone involved; you represented your houses with pride and passion!
