Tom Spencer

Tom read History at Newcastle University before becoming a Barrister, which he practised for over 20 years. His passion for History and Politics and the promise of something more rewarding drove him into the teaching profession. Tom is now completing his second year as an Early Career Teacher and teaching the subjects he loves. He also teaches GCSE Business, which enables him (finally) to decipher what his wife does for a living! Tom has 3 young children and on the odd occasion when he isn't being ordered around by them, he tries to play golf as well as coach mini rugby and football.
