Theresa attended the University of Manchester where she studied Biochemistry. Her first job was a trainee engineer for an international telecommunications company. Theresa also spent many years working in Asia as a Science Journalist, Theresa has been teaching Science for nearly 20 years in the UK and the Middle East.
Theresa is passionate about Chemistry because it teaches us about the world around us and it ties together Biology and Medicine, Physics and Maths, Earth and the environment, but most importantly, Theresa says it is great fun and she will never get bored of adding Sodium to water and setting fire to Thermite
