Jamie O. Connor

Jamie joined OIC Brighton in 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience from Nord Anglia Education, where he had worked since 2020. Prior to joining OIC Brighton, he held the role of Executive Director of Whole School Enrichment at NACIS Shanghai and also served as the China Regional Lead for Performing Arts. In these positions, Jamie led performing arts teams across China, delivering large-scale festivals and events, while also overseeing a broad enrichment programme encompassing Performing Arts, Visual Arts and PE at one of Shanghai’s leading bilingual schools. 

Over the past year at OIC Brighton, Jamie has played a key role in developing and embedding our Super Curriculum, helping to create opportunities that encourage students to explore their interests beyond the classroom and develop the skills, experiences and confidence needed for future success. His passion for holistic education and student development has made a significant impact on our community and has further strengthened our commitment to nurturing ambition, curiosity and personal growth. 

Born in London, Jamie is a musician and has a young family. Outside of education, he enjoys travelling, follows motor racing with enthusiasm and is a loyal Crystal Palace supporter—much to the amusement of colleagues and students in Brighton! Jamie continues to inspire students to embrace opportunities beyond their academic studies and is passionate about ensuring every student can build a rich and rewarding educational experience at OIC Brighton.
