David is a Geography Teacher and Oceanography specialist with over 15 years of experience in education and the charitable sector. His teaching career includes positions at state and grammar schools, as well as a sixth form college, with international experience in Hong Kong as Head of Humanities and Head of House.
Prior to joining OICB, David took a break from teaching to pursue other ventures at the Sussex Wildlife Trust, where he served as Head of Community Action for Wildlife, and at the Born Free Foundation, where he established the UK Education Programme. Beyond his professional roles, David was a trustee of Get Out, a charity connecting young people in Tower Hamlets with nature through surfing, for six years — reflecting his passion for environmental education and youth development.
