Anthony Evans

Anthony has been teaching English to speakers of other languages since 2005. He taught English in Spain for ten years prior to returning to the UK and has taught on numerous intensive English language programmes at universities around the UK.  

Anthony’s interest in teaching international students English stemmed from being a Social Activities Organiser at international summer schools while at university in Reading, where he saw how languages can be taught in highly interactive and dynamic ways. Anthony is passionate about enabling learners to understand and produce more natural English and hence develop their listening and speaking skills, in particular, which has inspired his talks at regional and national conferences.  

Anthony particularly enjoys the vibrancy of living in the city of Brighton and the unique leisure opportunities its location between the coast and countryside brings. He can always recommend a new independent shop, café, ice-cream parlour or restaurant to discover!
