Must be a British Citizen or hold Settled Status in the UK
Must reside within 3 hours from OICBrighton
Must be 25 years or older and not in full time education Must have no criminal record (UK or abroad); this also applies to all residents over 16 in the household and regular visitors
Must provide non-commercial, suitable accommodation
Must be available 24/7 while the student is in the UK, in case of emergencies or required campus departures.
Must attend safeguarding training

Family Friends & Close Relatives appointed as Nominated Guardians will be required to undergo a virtual household accommodation suitability and ID checks Charged at £50 +VAT, per student

BRIGHT WORLD GUARDIANS

Bright World Guardians offer two levels of Guardianship service;

Full Guardianship

Opportunity to stay at guardian
In school visit, once per term
Support for parental events and student needs, including uniform ordering and parents evening
Annual service cost £1,988 +VAT
Expense fund of £1,500, reimbursed at end of year, if unspent
Hosting cost £60 per day, full board (no VAT chargeable)
Travel expenses 55p per mile

Essential Guardianship

Host family, check in with student and available for visits, if required
Service cost per year £1,650 +VAT
Hosting cost £60 per day, full board
Expense £200, reimbursed at end of year, if unspent
Travel expenses 55p per mile
If holiday stays are required, families must upgrade to Full Guardianship

BELGRAVIA GUARDIANS

Belgravia Guardians offer two levels of guardianship;

Full Guardianship

Minimum, weekly wellbeing contact with student and updates with parents
